How you can work with us
Looking for a change in 2018?
Special Counsel – 6 years+ PAE
We’re looking for a gun. If that’s you, you should think seriously about joining us.
We are an award-winning law firm recognised as one of the fastest-growing in Australia.
We have a flat management structure and expect our lawyers to be competent. If you are, we will not micromanage you.
We enjoy socialising with each other, are young at heart, and are anything but stuffy. We work hard, and are absolutely committed to our clients’ best interests, our team, and our professional and ethical responsibilities. We deliver great results.
Our main practice areas are in commercial dispute resolution, insolvency, and construction, and we are looking to expand. As we are now growing into more spacious offices, there really will never be a better opportunity to ‘get in on the ground floor’.
We pride ourselves on our pragmatic, cost-effective approach: results, not endless legal quibbling.
You are a lawyer with at least two years’ post-admission experience, although you could have much more. You have excellent legal technical and communication skills, and quickly and clearly distill complex legal problems into the issues and arguments that really matter.
You are bold, affable, interesting and fun. You enjoy working in a team, have a ‘can-do’ attitude, and solve problems in both orthodox and imaginative ways. Your practical judgment is very sound.
You work hard, and quickly, on multiple files at once. You have a passion for delivering excellent legal advice and representation for your clients. You have long-term career aspirations in the law and wish to build your practice at a firm that will assist you in doing so.
Ideally, you would have your own client base which you could bring with you, and for which we could reward you. Experience in construction or insolvency law would also be beneficial.
If this sounds like you
Please email Sandra Ursino at firstname.lastname@example.org, enclosing your CV, cover letter, availability for an interview, and if possible, your academic record. Your application will be dealt with in strict confidence.
We look forward to hearing from you.
