Lawyer 2 – 6 years PAE

You are a lawyer with between two and six years’ post-admission experience. You have excellent legal technical and communication skills, and quickly and clearly distil complex legal problems into the issues and arguments that really matter.

You are bold, affable, interesting and fun. You enjoy working in a team, have a ‘can-do’ attitude, and solve problems in both orthodox and imaginative ways. Your practical judgment is very sound.

You work hard, and quickly, on multiple files at once. You have a passion for delivering excellent legal advice and representation for your clients.  You have long-term career aspirations in the law and wish to build your practice at a firm that will assist you in doing so.

Senior Lawyer 6 – 10 years PAE

You are focussed on your commitment to providing excellent legal advice and representation for your clients. You enjoy supervising and mentor more junior  staff. You have a ‘can-do’ attitude, and solve problems in both orthodox and imaginative ways. Your practical judgment is very sound.

You have long-term career aspirations in the law and wish to build your practice at a firm that will assist you in doing so. Ideally, you would have your own client base which you could bring with you, and for which we could reward you. Experience in construction or insolvency law would also be beneficial.

Our firm is looking for a Personal Assistant.  This is an opportunity to support a young-at-heart firm and its Director.  The role is full-time based in our busy Subiaco office.

You have excellent organisational skills and a ‘can do’ attitude. You have first class attention to detail.  You are a “doer”.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Director including diary management, booking appointments and juggling his day.
  • Being ahead of the Director on email management including responding on his behalf as appropriate
  • Arranging travel bookings
  • Formatting and preparing documents for meetings
  • Formatting powerpoint presentations
  • Registration for events and inviting guests
  • Preparing packs for meetings
  • Drafting and scheduling social media posts
  • Back-up invoicing.

You need to be:

  • organised
  • a person that is output-focused; and
  • calm under pressure

Your skills must include:

  • good computer literacy –confident to use and implement new systems and processes
  • Confident drafting/writing and proofreading skills
  • Flexibility and a willingness to do what needs to be done.
