Aaron was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia on 2 April 2008 and in the High Court of Australia on 28 August 2009. He is an experienced advocate.
Aaron completed his articles of clerkship with a small commercial law firm before spending 5½ years at a major international law firm where he was promoted to Senior Associate within its Litigation and Dispute Resolution Division. During his time at that firm, Aaron spent 18 months working in its Melbourne office.
Aaron has lectured at the Curtin University of Technology in its Business Law 100 and Business Organisation 222 Units.
In 2017, Aaron graduated with a Masters of Laws from the University of Western Australia. Aaron sits on the Courts and Access to Justice Committees of the Law Society of Western Australia. He also sits on the Law Access Limited Stakeholder Advisory Committee.
Aaron is a Committee member of The Piddington Society – an organisation which promotes access to justice in the community and collegiality within the legal profession.
He has given presentations to members of the profession on topics including ethics, changes to the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law, unconscionability in equity and most recently a presentation with the Chief Justice of Western Australia on best practice in mediation.
